This has been a busy–and fun–week since we adopted little Ochi from Austin Pets Alive! On Tuesday, she had her first vet visit and was cleared of her previous ringworm issue–so she's now free to join our other pets in our house. She's been confined to a storeroom and bathroom since her adoption but we added a screened panel to the lower part of that door so that she could meet everyone safely. It really helped because once she was free to visit the rest of the house, she felt right at home with our other pets!
I'll be writing a more in-depth article about introducing your dogs to your new cat but, if you are considering this addition, please know that it can be so rewarding!
