Dog devotees are invited to once again become virtual visitors at the Villalobos Rescue Center as Animal Planet chronicles the daily struggles and success of rescuers in New Orleans’ Ninth Ward in season seven of the hit series Pit Bulls & Parolees.
Marking a milestone 100th episode this season, over the course of 25 hour-long episodes fans of the reality series can watch as a new and promising reality dawns for pets who need a second chance, In this season Tia Torres and her team saves the lives not only of canines who are often unfairly hounded by prejudice, but all dogs in dire straits at the rescue organization’s main facility and satellite locations.
Along with helping man’s best friend, Tia Torres shows that she’s also a guardian angel to our pals who purr as she teams up with fellow Animal Planet personality Jackson Galaxy (My Cat from Hell) to help 38 feral felines found near a massive sinkhole.
The season also shines a spotlight on a few of the more than 50 parolees who have embarked on a new chapter in their life at Villalobos Rescue Center, with the camera following Sui on his first rescue mission and Earl as he undergoes surgery for an injury sustained during his days in prison.
The new season of Pit Bulls & Parolees premieres September 19th at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Animal Planet.
NOTE: Villalobos Rescue Center, along with six other deserving non-profit organizations which enrich the lives of all of our friends with fur, fins and feathers, are currently competing in Animal Planet’s annual R.O.A.R campaign. Animal Planet is matching donations raised (up to $100,000,) and through October 12, 2015 you can help your preferred paws cause on the list by voting for the organization which you hope will win a $4,000 Fan Favorite bonus.
