Well, as we surpass nine inches of rain this week, we're finding ourselves in a very unusual position: wishing for SUN in August! In what's traditionally the hottest, driest month here (so hot and dry it's basically miserable), we've been having record rainfall all week.
It looks like we might have a break coming up, though, so we're hoping to sneak out and hike one of our favorite state parks: Enchanted Rock State State Natural Area. Although dogs are no longer permitted to climb the dome, there are many great hikes here, perfect for a getaway if we can just keep these temps in the 80s a few more days!
