Last summer she was a young mother trying her best to care for her two pups, but thanks to a no-kill shelter in New Bloomfield, Missouri, Skye now has the chance to be a fur baby in a forever family of her own. A sweet-natured Terrier mix, Skye has a calm demeanor, and while she can become pals with other pets she is doggedly devoted to people.
Skye’s adoption fee is $111 and includes all of her vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, a microchip and spaying.
Skye is just one of the dogs, puppies, cats and kittens in the care of Callaway Hills Animal Shelter. The largest and oldest private no-kill animal shelter in Mid-Missouri, the non-profit recently celebrated its silver anniversary year.
