Of course, an LA event also means a star-studded event, and the four-legged attendees shared the spotlight with Jesse Tyler Ferguson:

Besides helping to shine the attention on the great adoptables, this event also showcased the work that Purina ONE is doing in conjunction with spcaLA. Purina ONE is providing food to the animals of the shelter to help them look and feel their best. While they’re in the care of the shelter, the animals also take part in spcaLA’s innovative Helping Enhance Animals’ Lives (HEAL)™ program providing shelter dogs with kennel enrichment activities and basic obedience lessons, helping to lessen the stress that so many shelter dogs feel (and that can make them struggle to get adopted).
