OK, we’re a long way from the cool temperatures we enjoyed when we took this autumn photo at Guadalupe River State Park last November, but today, for the first day in a long, long time, there’s a hint that summer may be losing its sweaty grip on the region. After 100+ degree temps for weeks, today we have the first cool front of the season. Irie and Tiki have been enjoying the cloudy weather in the low 90s, the first break we’ve had in a long time!
The cooler weather (which will only last until Saturday…but it’s a start!) also has me determined to organize my office. Last weekend’s reorganization plans were rescheduled by the wasp sting that sent me to urgent care…but I’m back rolling up my sleeves and getting our offices reorganized now.
