Known as The Birthplace of Rock and Roll, on August 15th the sound of joyful barking will be music to the ears of dog devotees as pet parents and their pups enjoy a day devoted to all our friends with fur, fins and feathers.
Activities
- From tackling tire jumping to working their way through weave poles, talented tail-waggers will wow the crowd during agility demonstrations. A Q&A session follows the demo of doggie dexterity, and one fortunate Fido and his or her human companion will get the chance to try out the course.
- Show your support for Spots who will show off their special skills in the Pet Talent Contest.
- Clap for the cute, quirkily-clad canines who will vie for a prize in the Pet Costume Contest.
- Share a sweet memory of your childhood with your fur baby as you play a Rover-fied rendition of Musical Chairs.
- The Memphis Pet Expo is also a mega-adoption event with potential pet parents getting the chance to meet adorable adoptables from such area rescue groups as Bee is for Bully, Inc., Blue Sky Dog Rescue, Collierville Animal Services, Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County, Kitty City, Loving Paws Rescue, Millington Animal Safe Haven and New Beginnings Animal Rescue.
- Plus giveaways, exhibitor booths, discounted vaccinations, microchipping and heartworm preventatives, and much more!
