This week has been a lot different than we planned! We're on deadline for the Texas Curiosities book revision and still had a handful of photos left to shoot for this assignment. We were packed and ready to head to Galveston with Irie and Tiki for a few days for this last stretch before Sunday's book deadline.
But the afternoon before we left, our cat Lucky began passing blood in his urine. As you know, last year Lucky had bladder surgery so this meant an immediate trip to the veterinarian's office.
Lucky's doing well now and on a painkiller as we wait for an ultrasound–and trip plans were definitely cancelled. Things have been a little quiet here on the blog as we rewrite parts of the book to accommodate the change in photos we'll have available. The book project will be turned in by Sunday, though, then it's back to our usual posting schedule!
