#PawPromise Adoptable Dog of the Week: Bettie

Bettie

Bettie
From the striking contrasts of an Ansel Adams photo to the flickering images of a silent movie on the silver screen, the combination of black and white is always classic. Such is the case with beautiful Bettie!

A seven-year-old spayed Labrador Retriever mix, Bettie (A1144943) was relinquished to the Miami-Dade Animal Services by her previous guardian, and since September 17, 2015 she has been waiting for a forever pet parent to love.

Bettie is just one of more than 27,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens who enter Miami-Dade Animal Services and Pet Adoptions each year. The open-admission shelter is striving to create a better future for our four-legged friends by joining with more than 70 rescue organizations to find homes for the area’s animals in need.

PawZaar’s #PawPromise Program

Every week, we highlight an adoptable dog (and an adoptable cat over on CatTipper.com), choosing from among rescues and shelters nominated by our
readers. If you’d like to nominate your favorite shelter or rescue, please visit our nomination form. Ten percent of the proceeds from our sales every week are donated to the week’s spotlighted rescue.
